Where are you now?

One of the first things to understand is the current situation? Who are our best customers and what makes them so? Who are our competitors and what are they up to? What are we good at? What’s already planned in? What’s worked for us in the past and what’s failed? Where do we need to improve? What’s going on in the market? and so many more questions…

Where do you want to be?

This is a question that can foster some great answers. One of my favourites was “On a boat in the med!”. So that’s fine we just need to work out what needs to happen in order to make that a reality. Not all business owners want the same thing. Some will want growth, others want stability, some are looking to expand their range others want to rationalise the portfolio to increase profit. By setting SMART (specific, measurable, achievable / realistic and time-bound) objectives we give ourselves a target to aim towards.

How are you going to get there?

This is where our experience comes in very handy. we have worked with many of the largest companies within our sector and some of the brightest marketing minds. Over that time we have seen which tools get the best results and which tend to fall flat. During this stage of the process we will define what marketing activity is going to take place and create a clear plan for implementation.
